Is it possible to texture tiles separately on a matrix

At the moment I have textured my matrix with a grass texture, I would like to texture part of it with different textures.

Can you select a tile on a matrix and put a different texture on it ?

A Matrix texture is always unique
But you can tile in accordance with the MAKE MATRIX Matrix Number, Width, Height, XSegments, ZSegments command
have a look at these examples
Also study the attached textures

(tiling scheme example in next post)

Thankyou for your reply.

It was very helpful.

May I ask what software you use to create your bitmap images ?

For simple basic yet effective and quick image editing I use a free program called PhotoFiltre. No layers though.
If you decide to grab it try to find a clean installer download ( with no embedded advertising links, browser home page changes etc.., you know what I mean)
I don't have link right now cause I changed PC and I had it from an old installer.
Another graphic program I use that has layers and possibility tp put Alpha mapping on images is Pixelformer
This one is less good for editing but the combination of the two gives a lot of editing power.
Cheers

I download both pieces of software.

I have created a few images to try out on my matrix.

How did you put the grid on your image ?

It would be handy to copy my image and put a grid on it to see what is in each square.

Use the line tool (see pic)
Remember that you'll get the line on the Matrix texture too though.
Maybe you can take it off view with set matrix trim commands but it's ages i don't use that command I can't give usage directions right now.
Cheers

great thx, It will be handy. I was going to create a texture and then make another copy of it and put a grid on it to get an accurate picture of what was in each tile.
