Seriously, irrespective of licensing-issues, why has nobody ever done this (including FOX)? That episode was one of my favorites!

Lord Paladin, this is forum. This is not instant messenger. If you are starting a thread, you should write more than two sentences and provide a link. Please, respect the board and post ponies!!!

... how FG looks from the other side:

... IMO FG's humor is very specific and limited by design of the show. That's why South Park has better game.

... IMO Cleveland's show is better. Waaay better.

I can't say I like it at all, compared to FG which I love (although the later seasons are kinda crap).

What is better, Simpsons, Family Guy, Cleveland's show or South Park?

I dropped South Park at ~12? season. It just became lame. I tried to force myself to watch all seasons but no. First seasons were really creative.

His post wasn't in violation of any rules, and I personally find your retort somewhat rude. Maybe that's just me. Anyway...

I have had to google to get a clue of this thread. And I don't even sure that I found correct video he was talking about. That is wrong!

Not this one only, but I don't like shows with humor based on complete idiots behavior. Especially when their personalities are made of carton.

Gravity Falls -> is quite funny and characters are not idiots like stereotypic American Homer.

American Dad is by far the best show Seth MacFarlane has created. Family Guy is good, but you have to be in the right mood to watch it.

As for Cleveland's show, I honestly can't believe they even greenlit the show. I tried to give it a chance but I barely made it through the first episode. Imagine how surprised I was it lasted 4 seasons.

Otherwise, I have never really seen South Park, but I also can't believe that no one has mentioned Futurama! If you're a fan of The Simpsons or Matt Groenig's work in general, you HAVE to watch it!

Futurama is in a league of its own. It's an insult to even compare it to Family Guy.

Today I watched Cleveland's show on TV, an episode from something beyond second season. It was complete crap.

Bob's burgers is okay, I feel like I want to like it more than I actually do. It has a lot of the same voice actors as Archer.

Was getting ready to say Bob's Burgers. Love that show, Bob's delivery with every line is just fantastic. As far as quality though, Futurama always takes the cake.

Well, I do enjoy Futurama, but it's not exactly replete with humour. It's more about the plot. Whereas FG is more about the humour.

If you consider "humor" to be random gags with no purpose related to the plot, often no context nor social commentary, then yes it is full of that.

Not sure I agree with that, but then Star Trek wasn't cancelled by the fools at Fox. One of my favourite shows of all time has got to be Farscape. And even though we've not watched all the seasons yet, I really like Stargate Atlantis!

One series was cancelled in it's fourth season, rather than it's first. Not to mention the other four series of Star Trek and it's twelve movies.

I guess you could say that particular Star Trek series was a failed... Enterprise.

I wasn't comparing it to Family Guy, I was just surprised no one had mentioned it before then. Family Guy and Futurama are nowhere near the same category of show!

Are you8 kidding me? There's a ridiculous amount of "the funnies" in every episode, the more you watch the more background stuff you notice, too. Sure, it has its fair share of "serious" episodes, but even those have humorous sub-plots that involve Zoidberg or other characters. It has humor everywhere!

I would argue that Family Guy's "humor" is more "shock value" than anything...

I was referring to TOS. At least Enterprise got to "end" if you can call it that. After season one I lost interest sadly..and I'm a huge Trekky!!

Well, that's true. I just mean I've never legit laughed out loud at it, but I do find it funny all the same.

My bad then, I never even knew it was cancelled. TOS never appealed to me.

I'd advise you to give it another shot, season 3 and 4 were so promising.

Blasphemy! Lol! I loved TOS including the movies. Though if I had to choose my favorite series it'd be a toss up between TOS and TNG.

Oh I still finished the series. Just saying it was hard getting through that part of the series..and how they ended it was a bit weird, idk, it still makes me scratch my head as to why they did it that way.

Yeah the last episode sucks. I read the destiny series of novels and that fixed it for me, it's canon in my mind. :-P

South Park all the way.

Now, where are my cheesie-poofs?

As far as Street Fighter clones...
Maybe Gandhi vs. Lady GaGa
Or Dr. Phil vs. Oprah
Or Judge Judy vs. Jimmy Kimmel (I think she could take him!)

And last but not least...
Kim Jong Un vs. Seth Rogen

I always wanted to make a religious fighting game where you can match up the likes of Jesus, Buddha, Mohammad, David, the flying spaghetti monster, Lau tzu the mother goddess, the rainbow serpent etc. With unlockable characters like Isaac newton, Kim Jon un, David icke, Satan and Charles Manson.

That... would be controversial, to say the least Also, most would argue the "flying spaghetti monster" is Jesus

I Kinda figured that from the rapid drop off in conversation in this thread...

I am slightly surprised I have not been slapped.

I guess deep down everyone must have thought to themselves... hell yeah!
