That's insane!!!!!!

Quote: "I have too many scores on the board trying to get that high though, so please delete those if you want to open up some slots for newcomers."

Will do sir...I like the high scores in the early stages of the game. It lets me spy on the activity of the app

Congrats again on your score im shocked. I havnt made it over 5k yet...and you just blew all scores sky high.

Edit: I just cleaned it up...I didn't take all the scores only the low ones. Soon ill have a fix for this so it dosnt submit a score every time. Only if you beat your own personal highscore will it submit.

Thank you.
Thank you very much.

Those controls are so smooth now with the collisions adjusted that I am sure we will see a lot of people getting much higher scores.
Your quick updates have been awesome, and this game has come a long way fast.

You can really play chicken with the fish and seaweed now and come out on top.

Menu Updates coming later on today.

Larger text. YAY!

I hope so too. Good luck!
My begging for mine was pretty pathetic, but the badge was worth it.
How does that saying go? .. Pestistence pays off!

A small little creek that gives up will only cut a wash. The river that sticks around will cut mountains.

I don't know if its larger but it sure is better looking.
After I wrap it up when I get home you can decide.
The GUI pack I bought only came with a layered EPS file. So im having to do a lot of editing. (I should have read more about what I bought) luckily I have the Paint Shop Pro trial. Im on the way to store to buy the full version right now.
Ill be open to all feedback

I have not got much work done on the new Menu...Its giving me a huge head ach. The picture above is sort of what im aiming for but to me it just looks kinda thrown together. I was going to release it today but I think I want to spend some more time on it. I have redone the High Scores Page to my liking. I just don\'t think the Main Menu is quite ready yet.

The button placement is whats throwing me off. Just giving you a heads up.

Edit: I also purchased Paint shop pro ultimate today. So im learning how to use it. Its got too many buttons for my liking.

2nd Edit: I just swapped out the ? button and High Scores button with Exit Button im thinking I like it. I don't know why I tried to put the smaller buttons in the middle.

Update:
New APK was just published to Google Play with the following updates. Update is now LIVE!

No need to keep entering your name. You may enter it once at the start menu. You will now only have to enter your name upon starting the app.

New Menu and High Score Graphics!

High scores will now automatically update. You no longer have to click (Get Scores).

I hope this lets you play faster games with out having to go through all the trouble of dealing with names and extra buttons.

New Update should be live in just a few short hours.

Edit: @Conjured...New High Score!!!!!! 12896!

I am curious how ol' Judge Fudge will do now with the pin point collisions.

Im just wondering if you think the game is too easy now. When I was getting that score it felt like I was just doing the same motions over and over again for about 6 mins.

The deal is the Jellyfish motion is set to where you don't have many mistakes to make if you want to make it through the seaweed.
The fish are set to make the Jellyfish swim up and down with out using the same pattern.
If I start moving the fish at random on the Y-Axis im afraid it will disrupt the movement of the jellyfish through the seaweed to much.
Im drawing blanks on game difficulty.
I can speed the game up but it dosnt effect anything really(Not to me anyways.)
Maybe its right where it needs to be...With people trying to one up high scores.

It is easier than before, but I don't think it is too easy.
I think it is just right for younger kids to enjoy, as far as speed and controls go.

I would have a shark like we talked about that swims up and down as it swims across to break up that redundant feeling.
You could even throw out a school of fish every now and then.

As far as speed goes, I would be worried about having time to swim up or down in time to get past next seaweed. (need faster jellyfish which seems unnatural)
I think more aggressive fish would be better, or even maybe more fish, for increased difficulty.

Hey just had the update, the graphics/menus are good, looking much more polished. Keep it up, this is getting to be a real good app. Can't get anywhere near the top scores yet though ...... YET!

The reason im not increasing the speed is because any faster the jellyfish dosnt move as smooth.

This is very true.

Very nice idea! Thank you! I will get to work on this.

Wow...I don't know what is going on. I just googled my app and am sort of worried.

http://1mobile.apk.pub/jellyfish-dive-2607908.html
https://apksfull.com/jellyfish-dive-com-crazyprogrammerproductions-my_jellyfishswim/
https://filedir.com/android-games/arcade/jellyfish-dive-13452000.html
http://www.androidpit.com/app/com.CrazyProgrammerProductions.my_JellyFishSwim

Who are these guys and why would they have my APK? The more I look the more im finding it on other sites.

Edit:

https://apksfull.com/about/

The list just goes on for days...This does not seem right...

@Funell your games are on there too.

I have googled how they are allowed to do this and am drawing blanks.

Because you released it FREE, but do not worry about it.
Unless you put redistribution restrictions on it, or they credits themselves or someone other than you as the creator, its ok IMO.
As I said before, everybody and their brother is jumping on the App Distribution bandwagon.
They are just posting any FREE apps they find, so their site has more content, and appears like they are big time instead of little fry.

Be glad about this, because it gives your App more exposure, which means more players, which means more referrals, which means more people looking for a new version later on.
As long as you are credited as the creator, then people will know it is your IP and which developer to look for when buying future versions.

You may want to make a list of these guys though, so you can double check them after you release a game for sale. (Just to make sure they are not pirating your paid apps)
If they do pirate your paid apps, or credit someone else for your IP, then take the usual action of cease and desist letters, and contacting their web hosting service.
Web host are usually quick to take action in IP disputes, because they don't want the legal hassles or bad reputation from it.

Another reason I like FlexIndie, he doesn't seem to be posting other people apps.
That seems to be a disadvantage for him right now, but I think his integrity will pay off in the long run.

The text size seems smaller now with the new graphics.
I can see that you have over 10,000 but I cannot make out what the score is.
12,3??

Nice score! (blew me away)

If I turn on the pinch/spread/zoom thingy it makes some of my apps crash, so I leave it off.
