Hey everybody, (you old guys here know me, but some of the newcomers might not since I have moved over to AppGameKit for awhile)
If you ever got help from me in the past and wanted to return the favor some day, then now is your chance.
I know this is not related to FPSC, but I am hoping to muster up all the help from TGC that I can get in the next 24 hours.

Just posting here for a little more awareness in case you missed my thread in the AppGameKit Showcase Forum.

I released a game made with AGK2 as an entry for the FlexIndie JAM 1 competition.

The contest theme was CULTS and my entry is titled "The Cult Initiation".
Check out the thread in the showcase, or hit that link above to go directly to the voting page at FlexIndie Jam 1.
I was hoping that JLMoondog was going to get his entry submitted in time, but I haven't heard anything from him for a few days
It was his thread where I first found out about the competition.

Anyway, my entry is for ANDROID devices, so if you have one then PLEASE go check it out and cast a vote.

There are clues in the thread in the showcase, in case you get stuck at cracking the lock on the door. (you will understand when you play it)

THANKS, and lets make AGK2 the winner of FlexIndie's very first JAM!

edit
Voting is over, and it got 3rd place.
Thanks to everyone who voted!
I am going to use the prize money to purchase the sprite tools bundle here at TGC. (SpriteMe and Model-2-Sprite)
I am looking forward to using some FPSC classic 3d models as 2d sprites in AppGameKit!
THANKS AGAIN!!!

Voted as well. Best of luck.

You got my vote. Best luck

My games never have bugs. They just develop random features..
Lots and lots of random features...

Thanks again people.
It looks like I am going to be in last place on this one, but that's okay.
I really appreciate you guys voting for me.
It's nice to see so many of the old FPSC crowd still here in the forums.

Congrats to Xplosys, BlackFox, and Wolf!
I see you three are flying 'Valued Member Badges" now.

Thanks Keith, but it was pretty easy to get 3rd with so few entries.
Not proud, just happy to see those FPSC models in AppGameKit!
Hopefully, when the contests do have more entries, I will have better quality submissions to offer...
If I can pry myself away from the forums, then I am going to get this guy into a side scroller today.

Lol, FlexIndie! Congrats on third place, sorry I did not see this in time to vote, but I was laughing because I just submitted my game to FlexIndie. 'Momochi Ninja Mouse'. No sales yet, but Rumor is that there going to start a bundle package, so maybe it will be easier to get some sales.

Yeah, I was going to try to get something up for the First Friday of the Month (TODAY!) special pricing, but I was playing with the sprite tools and ...
Anyway, I will definitely have something for sale at FlexIndie next month!

Your game is only $0.99, so at ninety nine cents, it would cost them and extra penny to buy it today.
You probably won't see many sales for First Fridays with that price tag, as most people will be buying up the most expensive apps those days.
Your game will have sales, later on though.
Just remember the site is only just launching, so as it grows so will our sales.
We are lucky to get in now, so we can have a good selection of games there by the time is gets going full speed.
The good news is, we won't get buried in a million other apps at FlexIndie like we would at Google Play, so it will pay off in the long run.

Wow! Those sprites look great.
Ya, I guess fridays, won't be my day, lol. I think that with the massive flood of free app games, the only way to really make decent sales is to get into a bundle, unless you have a really unique/good game. Or get on the free bandwagon, and get ad revenue. Momochi was just kind of a fluke, I'm not really a phone game developer. It's nothing that hasn't been done before, but I think it's a solid platformer.
I'm really going to try and focus on GameGuru now, which I just purchased.
Pretty impressive, right out of the gate. Fpsc, I think, still has lots of life left in it, and some advantages over GameGuru, so i might do a little side project with it.
Good luck with your games, and on Flex.

and the Barbarian...

That is 3 down and about 18 to go. lol

I may have to use less animations though, if I am going to get them all in the same game and stay under 50 MB for the media folder.
