Hello community, a query, someone can tell me for what reason the flashlight does not work on objects and segments with shader ?. The shader to use for the segments is as follows (norm_spec_tangentbasis) and I use to entities (norm_alphaspec_tangentbasis). Thanks for your time.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xuYoTG5Iivs

To counter this problem you can use the provided segment shaders from NomadMod. I found it to be working although it is a modified version of the mentioned shader. And your problem has also occured with me, so I had to switch it to the one in NomadMod.

Mriganka,thanks for your answer, I just installed and tested with Nomad Mod v1.3 and still does not work, try also leave unoffcial_fpsc_v1.20.19_beta_v1.20_final_e version, and use segment_spec_norm shader that comes with mod nomad for segments and is still without function. I thought you might be led flashlight EAI, but also use other flashlights including flashlight mod includes nomad and nothing. without success.

I'm telling you to use the shaders from NomadMod instead of norm_spec_tangentbasis.fx segments shader in ps_3_0/segments directory.

Have you enabled all of the useeffects parameters in setup.ini to 1?

In your screenshot your segment paths are still pointing to the original shaders and not the Nomad Mod ones.

The path should be effectbank\nomadmod\segments\segment_spec_norm.fx
