Hey
So is there a way to make bullet holes appear on a dynamic entity?
eg..moving range target.

And also I've notices dynamic entities disappearing when viewed through a weapon scope. The angle at which I view them seems to affect their visibility. Straight in-front no problem, 45degrees+ and they disappear, but if I 'corner of my eye' them with my scope they re-appear.([EDIT]-Okay, I saw this effect while holding the colt 45 so I guess it has nothing to do with scope, the 'corner of your eye' thing still happened though.)
Anyone know what causes this, and maybe a fix?
Thanks

Short answer, No. I don't think so.
As for your other problem, I don't seem to have it. I tried several ways with V1.20_1.14 and the dynamic objects are always
in view with a scope from every angle What version are you using?
Also just had a thought, it could be shader related? Maybe

Ya the disappearing dynamic entity is one of heltors animated range targets. The one that goes side to side. But it's not scope related, as it happened while I was just holding the colt45, not zoomed. It's just really weird and puzzling. I use v1.19.
As to the dynamic bulletholes, I thought maybe you could script it to recognize raycasts and spawn bullethole textures, but my scripting skills are limited. Kinda weird shooting a target on a shooting range, and not seeing were the bullets hit. You can get blood splatter textures on enemies where your bullets hit, and there dynamic???

You could make it static, but then it wouldn't move. You can make it a character (NPC) to recognize damage, and animate it to do something like flip over? You limited right now if you want to show "bullet holes".
best

Hmm..ya, maybe turning it into a character might work? I'll have to look into it. Thanks for the idea ncmako.
