I like the angry possessed nut weilding critter lol
I do a lot of toons around my home phone table and I
have a book that I do them in as well when I cant get one
off my chest and need to refine it. I get stuck drawing
similar characters for a while then move onto other styles
or methods. Scratching ink and washed colour looks good, especially
no black ink bleeds in raw colours when using the computer.
Try and draw the same one you like the most with different cells rotating around the x axis and you get a better idea of how they will be in 3d as well as refining them in your mind. Iguess thats taking simple sketching a bit too far but yer im hungover so thats my excuse

my personal favourite to draw was the puppy dog eye'd plant, that's called bushy cause of the story i was being told ^_^

funniest is definately the squirrel i named Jude though, she said she remembers a squirrel where she used to grow up that used to talk smack and throw nuts at people. cracked me up so i decide to try and draw him... she did a far better one though, wish i were as good a 2d artist as she is. will ask her later if i can post it up.

this is just a concept for perhaps a funny lil CG movie i might make for my new portfolio ^_^
just imagine Bushy trying to hop away from the hedgehog lol

Hehe, nice work!.

That cactus reminds me of Chewy from the PJ's (Chewy is the fat kid). It looks sorta like British tabloid cartoon pages, that sorta watercoloured look if you know what I mean.
