Made two Wizard Staff's, one with Lightning and another with Fire/Energy balls.
Didn't turn out as I wanted, so seeing if anyone else might want or need them.
My games never have bugs. They just develop random features..
Lots and lots of random features...

Thanks seppgirty, yeah one would have to have a specific need for it.
Otherwise of no use ?

I'm sure someone could use them. Do you plan on selling them or just posting them for free.

Awesome! As you say they didn't turn out the way you wanted, what were you trying to do or do different?
I'm always looking for alternative weapons because I tend to make weird games that aren't really shooters or don't work well with conventional weapons. This would work or could be made to work with many other game types. Well done.

Brian.

@ luisvaloyes
Hope to post them shortly here. I'm just not happy with the textures in game.
Still working on them. Also working on a "wizards sword" type weapon.
Hope to have them up here before the 18th?
Here's the Wizard Sword so far...

Not happy with the "fire shot" texture so far.

The sword is really sweet and the sound effects are bizarre. (in a good way) did you record those yourself?

Very nice... if you're still giving them away I would love to use them...

I remixed some sound files I own. Yeah, a little too bizarre Not really what I was after. I have since redone them.
Was looking for more of a "medieval fantasy" sound? Was also hoping to get a "glow" around the weapons when
firing. Had to settle for this for now...

@SonOfaHaduken & luisvaloyes Thank you.
Almost finished. Hope to post files tomorrow.
best

Posted files. Still not happy with the results, could be a lot better.
Will work some more on them. If you achieve better results, please
post them to share. Also, if something is amiss, let me know.
Thanks & Have fun.

@ncmako thank you very much!

the staff is such a powerful weapon

I'm not great at texturing, but I'll give it a try, it'll be very useful to learn, if I make something nice I'll post it...

best regards!
