Never mind
This was an error on my part; it appeared as though the file was being updated and loaded, but it was not the case. Please ignore this thread.

I am posting this here as a bug report and as something for others to watch out for, which potentially causes inconsistencies with INI file parsing.
Delete Lookup [ID] is a Matrix1 command which should "delete an entire lookup table"; which when sourced from an ini file does not clear the data when the file is loaded. Loading an INI file as a lookup, removing the lookup; changing the file, then reloading the file as an INI file does not replace the old data with the new. Running the code below and having the file changed inbetween each block displays the original value from the old data; instead of the new.
make lookup from ini 1, "g:\test.ini"
print lookup$(1,"Name/Check","")
wait key
clear lookup 1
delete lookup 1
make lookup from ini 1,"g:\test.ini"
print lookup$(1,"Name/Check","")
wait key
clear lookup 1
