When I got to compile the FPSC source, the needed launch.exe is nowhere in the archive.

To compile the FPSC source, you will require Dark Basic Professional. I see it now has gone Open Source as well (shows how often I come here, I miss the memo). The "launch.exe" referred to is the launch file for DBP. By the looks of the FPSC open source items, it appears that what has been provided is items to configure DBP to actually compile FPSC source. While no "launch.exe" exists in the collection, you may need to go to the DBP Open Source side and get it there (which I see it is there in the "Install" branch of the DBP Repository.
There\'s no problem that can\'t be solved without applying a little scripting.

I have the same problem. Also if I use the DBPro install files I can´t get it to work. I always get an error.
There are files missing.

Maybe someone can test it, too.

I wrote Lee about this:
Quote: "
I was very exited about the open source release of FPSC Classic, but in your upload are no exe files. And if I try to use the new DBP version I get a lot of errors.

What did I wrong? I read your readme and so on, but I can´t get it to work.
I just want to compile the FPSC-Game.exe."

The answer:
Quote: "You have to use the DBP that is provided with the repo. The readme shows the path to this older version of DBP."

So, open source without an option to compile?

Oh, I'm just plain fed up. Even with the missing file added to the packge, it still won't compile right.
Its almost as if they didn't bother testing it before hand.
Guess it's back to piddling around with the GZDoom engine for me.
