To be fair no code was offered up in that thread so we have no way of knowing if the code being used was implemented correctly. Now hakimfullmetal has dug out a mulitplayer tutorial for M1Utils you at least have code that should work correctly, so give it a try at least before writing off the plugin or DBP as not working as intended.

Edit Ah I see you edited a couple minutes before I posted lol, you at least seem to be having some luck, stick with it

Thanks for reminding me about the tutorial... it looks like example 3 Server/Client might be working, I'm going to study it more tomorrow and see what I can do.

This might not be a very nice request, but,

Anybody still have DarkNet, that they can share?

I tried to contact Mike to buy the plugin, but there's no reply. I thinks it's been a month already. Probably he didnt sell them anymore.
I need the uPnP features.

I imagine it's at the state of abandonware by now. If it's not too much, can somebody who still has it share it with me?

What do we need to use as a host for the ip$ part of this Multisync command? Supposing we want to host over the internet?

Is is the internal IP? 192.168.1.101
Or is it the external IP? 60.49.73.217
Or is it the combination of internal + port? 192.168.1.101:1025

Because I tried everything, but http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ said my port was still closed?

I turns out that my IP is probably a CG-NAT. That would explain why my IP location would switch to china at times.
That also means that I would not be able to host anything normally.
Probably should try out VPN/Hamachi.

According to one of my coworkers, all you need is a VPN-capable router...

The Best VPN Routers of 2015

I haven't purchased one myself, but they may be a necessity unless you want to use a 3rd party service like Hamachi or Cactus.
I'm also curious about free VPNs... if anyone has experience with this, please reply!
