Zombie Asylum is now live on google play. I have been working on this project for a while and decided to release an early version on google play to get some basic feedback about the game.

Here is a little about the game
- Leaderboards through game center
- wave based gameplay
- various stages throughout the asylum
-barricades

Runs really smoothly and looks great on my Samsung Galaxy S6.

Couple of points:
§ - Would probably be worth changing the movement buttons to a joystick.
§ - Add an option to flip the gun model, feels really weird shooting left-handed haha
§ - Would be nice to be able to move, shoot and aim at the same time.

Things I liked:
§ - Nice lighting
§ - Nice animations.
§ - Runs very smoothly.
§ - Controls feel responsive.
§ - Can shoot through the barricade (no lazy coding here )

Needs a lot more work.
Add ragdoll physics for the zombies.
Change movement to virtual joystick.
Need loading screen, takes so long to load that I get
several messages that it is not responding.

Tested on NextBook Ares 11 Android Tablet.
The coffee is lovely dark and deep,and I have code to write before I sleep.

yup, thats also on my immediate to do list is get that taken care of, and get that annoying error message to go away.

Definitely agree thats why its in alpha

I myself love ragdoll physics, however i felt that this would be overkill for some older android devices, and i really wanted it to play as smoothly as possible. ill look into adding it as an option that maybe older device users can turn off if it doesnt run as well.

I have tested it on several older devices and have not had any slow down.

very nice! Now i just need to figure out how to make all the ragdolls. any advice? i took a look at your videos on zeroing joints etc. very nice, im just looking at how to setup the ragdolls in agk

Here is a code example. You will have to change the name of the bones to match your model.
You may have to tweak some of the values. Create the joint vectors once and reuse for every ragdoll.

Just added rag doll physics into the game! check it out when you have time! update going live in a few hours
