Newcomers AppGameKit Corner / Problem animating sprite with a too wide spritesheet

It just doesn't animate. The spritesheet is 12288 pixel wide.

I attached an example project.

Tested using agk on steam in linux and windows 10.

that is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to big. try to fit it in 2048x2048 sheets

It is a limitation of the hardware, not AGK.

I don't understand why. Other software can display and animate it.

Bear in mind, AppGameKit is designed for mobile. I am not sure if all deployments stick to the limitations of the mobile hardware, or if it differentiates.
Some iPads still only support 2048x2048 textures.

Yes, but it is still very very important to consider the limitations of your target devices.
