Mr Love The "blanket" looks good ... Don't sweat the small stuff.
As far as a trash can goes... there are so many to chose from. ModelPacks #1,2 & 3, the London pack has some, the Night City pack...ect
Some are trash cans, others are bins or barrels...ect

Have been really busy making models and optimize My level3 that is almost ready. I was really curious to work with makehuman and the result turned out well. A 34000 polygon model!!! When mixamos optimizer is gone, what do You do? You add the plugin "simple maker" into Cinema4D and try to do Your best to optimize parts of the body.. I think I did ok.. From 34000 polygons to 8900 polys after alot of work. The result can be seen on the picture (Flat shaded) It still looks like a 34000 polygon model when shaders and texture is on... I think its kind of funny to improve the old sci-fi and ww2 models, so today I did a remake of the old "oiltank", or was it a gastank? Anyways as You can see, its an oiltank NOW! Critics please...

The character's topology is nightmarish if you're planning on having him animate. Look at his knees!
If he's going to animate make sure you've got enough loops where he's going to be moving the most.
http://wiki.polycount.com/wiki/BodyTopology There's some good ref here
If something compiles on the first try. Something is terribly wrong.

It is an animation-frame at the picture. The model animates perfect without any polygon flaws... (I have been modeling for 15 Years, I know what works and what dont) It even works with ragdoll!
Here is a picture of the same model shaded and with texture...

Everything worked fine with the model, and Im finished with level3!!! But yesterday and today was/is a nightmare because the lightmaps are getting too big (over 4000mb, it will crash) It worked fine 2 days ago when the lightmap-quality was 60% Now it doesnt even work with 5%......

Wow 60%, ok, but it should at least build with 5%. Try this, close fpsc, clean out files inside "levelbank\testlevel"
Delete all the files inside "testlevel" ( those are all the lightmap built files) including the folder "lightmaps" inside.... do not delete the folder "testlevel" !
This will force a new lightmap files with the next test/build.
Then try also deleting all your temp. test run files. I have win-7...so mine are located under your user name "AppData\Local\Temp\"
Inside delete everything, I'm not sure how win-10 has it setup?

Ok, I was so lucky I did a lightmap-build with 10% quality, and it looks like s--t... Everything takes mutch more memory now than two days ago, entitys static objects etc.. Will My map never look good again???

Not sure what you mean ? Are you saying dynamic entities are now static ??? Or just everything, all the entities.
First, did you clear out all the old temp. files ? Next take a look at two important things, first the setup.ini (you know this one, make sure nothing has changed, just to be safe)
Then second, no one ever talks about this one... the buildsetup.ini, it must match the "setup.ini" to make a clone build.
In the past it has caused problems by changed settings. The "setup.ini" is for testing, then it's suppose to transfer those settings to the "Buildsetup.ini"
That doesn't always happen

No. What Im saying is that everything when compiling takes about 1000mb more than two days ago...
Quote: "First, did you clear out all the old temp. files ?"

Yep...
Well, I think You have misunderstood Me. I am not trying to build an exe here, just compile a testgame...
I did make a clean reinstall, but the problems came with Me....
Did even tryed to use regedit to find hackerdata, but its hard to find....

Mr Love That's right, I forgot your not using BI. I would start looking into any "new" entities you may have added
since this problem started if any of them might be the culprit ? Also what are your "Preference" settings before testing?
And if you can attach your "setup.ini" file, maybe we'll see something off, maybe

Ok, now I have some new info. I use two backups and one with the newest files, and one with a little bit older files. The old files backup was from the time when I used 60% lightmapping and it worked! Now the old files didnt work, so its not a model or something like that...
I have no idea what has changed in the computer, I have had updates and I use a new antivirus with firewall (COMODO) but It courld be anything or anyone causing this problems...
Here is My setupfile, intresting that I cant change eather screensize or optimize mode....

I have a similar problem with dark basic pro sometimes the compiler generally crashes without any reason, only cleaning the temp folder "C: \ Users \ user \ AppData \ Local \ Temp" helps.

Remember, changes to the setup.ini must be made with fpsc Closed before taking effect.
For the "resolution sizes, try setting the aspectratio to zero under "GAMEDEBUG"
(aspectratio=set to 1 to force the game resolution to obey the aspect ratio of the current desktop screen size)
There's another one at top under "GAMERUN", that may need to be changed also ?
As for "Optimized Mode" I believe that should be left on =1

These are/seem to be low settings, but try setting your "dividetexturesize=0" to 2 and test run.
You can also set it in the "Preference Settings" in the editor. See if that helps any?

Thanks sman512 but I have tried that already, sadly no success...

Quote: "Remember, changes to the setup.ini must be made with fpsc Closed before taking effect."

I know that.. I always have FPSC closed down when Im change the settings...
Some creative tries from Mike here I always wondred why there is two aspectratio? Maybe Lee got alzheimers or something??? (That wourld explain Gameguru.) (And that was a joke.)
Yes, I always change both aspectratio. I have tried to set the dividetexturesize to "2-4", the game looks unacceptable.. (But I will give it a shot..)
Ofcourse theese changes will take less memory, (It will make the game look horrible) but I will try them out, But I dont understand why?
Ok! Now I have tried everyting that Mike told Me to do, Strange it didnt use less memory for the Entitys??? (What a mystery!)
Thanks for the support Guys!

Just wanted to pass by, first I want to say great work to Nomad Soul Who have created an outofthebox working pack for Visual Studio. Sadly I dont script Myself, but I think this will intrest many new programmers... Sence You read this thread, i guess You havnt missed that level3 is ready, except for some signs. Anyways now I am planning level4, and its still in the prison, but this time You get to see the prisonyard and the buildings is mutch bigger than the smaller building in level3. In this level You are suppose to save colonel Baxter from torture to make Him "Talk" and escape both alive a long way in the prison, escaping with a prison-bus... I have nothing ready Yet except for what I have on paper, but I did a test today of the prison fasade. I think it turned out pretty well. What do You Guys think? The only thing that will be diffrent is that the windows in the game will be partly transparent...

Today I made the best model I have ever done in My opinion. Took the whole day, Phew! It was suppose to become a prison bus, but the lack of good textures made Me do this school bus instead. But dont worry, I will fix the textures later on so it will look like a perfect prison bus. I can show You Guys the finished result later.. (The bus is an extreme lowpoly model 1261 polygons only) I think I will sell this on CGTrader later. Happy surprise yesterday, sold a subway-gate yesterday for 20 bucks, I think this will sell even better...
Here is some pictures on My bus:

Huh... It's a school bus again! Is that a Magic Bus? "I don't want to cause no fuss, but can I buy your Magic Bus? I want it, I want it, I want it, I want it."
Songwriters: Peter Townshend
Magic Bus lyrics © T.R.O. Inc.

Still some texture problems, especially the front glass and where it meets the sides, but easy enough to fix.
I don't think I've ever seen a yellow prison bus, and I watch a lot of movies! Usually they're blue or white, at least in the states.
Anyway, awesome for a very low poly model.

On a side note, I'm about to loose my internet (next week) for I don't know how long, so I wish you continued success with your game.

My first and second try to make a Pistol was horrible, just cardboard cut-outs! But that was 10 Years ago. Yes I havnt made a Pistol or any gun for 10 years, so I thought it was time to do a gun, cardboard or not I have learn many model technics so it shourld look better this time!
I am sutch a bond fan, and My favorite film is "IN HER MAJESTYS SECRET SERVICE" So I was thinking to Myself, why not make the James Bond gun, a Walther PPK? And I did...
This is pictures of the result... (The barrel and reciver is a little bit high up) Data: Polygons=1844, Vertex=1035 (Extreme lowpolygon model)
