I don't think they want you to do that because it's a sandbox thingy but maybe if you iterate through the drive letters (Excluding A, B and D) using SetRawWritePath("C:\") then try open the "." filename.
I'm just guessing here, it sounds logical, although you'll run into problems if they have multiple CD/DVD drives
