Newcomers AppGameKit Corner / debugging window?

I see references to a debugging window in the tutorial guide, but even when I set a breakpoint and debug my app, a debug tab doesn't appear that I can open. I don't see any option to open/create one in the menus or help. I am obviously missing it, can someone tell me how to open the debug tab?

Try

View --> Show Sidebar

The sidebar appears on the left

Wow - I had it turned on already but nothing showed!
Turns out it was active but completely shrunk down to nothing. I only noticed because the line numbers move over one pixel when it is turned on/off
