I just published my next mini game. All Tier 1 AGK2. It makes use of Google Game Services (Game Center) with a Leaderboard and a number of hidden Achievements. This mini-game started life as some example code I posted up for a fellow AppGameKit user to help them with their duck-shoot game, so I thought I'd put it to good use and make a mini-game out of it.

Please try it and let me know what you think. Thanks!

Nice little mini game! I'm guessing you are BrokenTelly? Lol... I took the leader spot for a few hours at least

It's interesting that you don't have a titlescreen, I thought it was weird at first, but actually for mini games like this (and most of my games), a titlescreen really isn't necessary. These games are there to just pick up and play, you don't really want to be navigating through various screens to start the game. I might follow suit and drop the titlescreen from my games also... Hmmm...

Good work.

Simple and addictive!
I had to keep playing until I hit #1.

It is simple and fun, nice work.

You might add an option to skip connecting to Google play games though if possible. I didn't want to mess with setting up or using an account and had to click through a dozen messages before I could actually start playing.

I just got 2nd in the charts! Can't seem to beat that now.

Little tip, play it on a tablet not a phone!

What have you done??? I installed it. Now my whole family is crazy about this game.

Simpel but with fun factor.

Well done.
My son (8) asked me to say that the game is great.

I hate it. It takes up ridiculous amounts of my time trying to be #1again. It should be banned.

Kidding of course, I'm just mad I can't beat the top scores. Extremely addictive

So, I DID beat that, with 212, which stood for a while... but now Spectre has gone and got 220!!!! HOW DARE YOU!!!

I joined up with IndieDB, and posted Aaargh! Ducks! there... Is it okay to rate and review your own games? Lol.

Thanks SpecTre... I'm still trying to beat your score!

I am building my Apple profiles now (using that link to the video you kindly provided - thanks!). I will do a little update to this game (make the buttons more responsive with a little scale animation, and maybe add a few more achievements) before attempting my first Apple store submission.

...Aargh! My MacBook Pro has gone completely flat (I never use it!). Hate the way it takes half an hour before you can even switch it on when it's completely dead.

Bring it!

I've noticed that Google Game Services allows iOS versions of the app... does that mean my Game Centre code can remain exactly as it is when I eventually figure out this Apple stuff? (I've managed to create a distribution profile signed IPA now, so am getting there). It'll be awesome if iOS players can compete with Android players all using the Google Services leaderboard and achievements.
