In order to celebrate the release of Black Ice Mod v10, we've put together a showcase demo which demonstrates how you can really get a lot of mileage out of the features available now with larger levels, faster performance, high quality lightmapping, AI, shaders and ReShade post processing effects.

Thanks to all the people using and supporting the mod. We've been working on this for 18 months now and it would not have been possible without all the contributions and help we've had along the way.

Can somebody please tell me what is the minimum amount of stuff that I must download in order to be able to play the DOCKS DEMO (shown in above images by NOMAD SOUL), and play it offline (with no access to internet once I downloaded all required stuff, like we can play other normal games) ? Because, I downloaded docksdemo.zip about 13mb, unzipped it, started it, I wait a lot before PLAY button appears, then when I click on PLAY button nothing happens !

We are going to rebuild the demo with the latest Black Ice Mod v10.5 build shortly so I will include an offline launcher if you are still having issues by then.

As seppgirty says you need an internet connection for the online installer to download all of the game data. The 13mb download is only for the launcher.

You did not understand me guys. I want offline version, ok no problem. But thats only one thing. The other thing is , even with internet connection, the launcher seems to be downloading game data, then PLAY button appears and when I click it nothing happens. The game won't start. I tried this with the DOCKSDEMO and with other demo where you have stairs (5-6 mb), same result.

But it's good to hear that offline version of demo is on the way.

@mhd256 - You can now download the offline version using the link provided below.

**DEMO UPDATE**

Black Ice Mod showcase demo has now been updated with v10.5 build:

- Reworked some of the lighting and gameplay
- Demo can now be played with xbox controller
- Added some quicksave positions in level
- Optimised performance for outdoors
- Fixed some bugs with scripts

*Remember to set xbox=1 in the setup.ini configuration to play with xbox controller.
