Hi

I wanted to ask if I can set an entity as a target for a Dark AI character using merely its name ... just like 'settargetname=x' in standard AI ....

These are all the conditions and actions that are in the manual on dark AI. I do not see any with settargetname.

Does setting a team for the character automatically activates the Dark AI system for it, even if I don't use SETAIACTIVE?

Yes it does. I set up a simple debug script with 'addaiteam=2' and 'isdarkai=' and confirmed the results.
