Just add music and sound volume then its as close as can ever get - with no specialised music channel frequency commands

Nice effect all the same

Nice effect!

You could use makememblockfromsound and build true vumeters and even spectrum analysers using the data sync'd to the audio with timer(). Would be a cool little project!

For efficiency, the colours (255,255,255) in line 61 can be predefined. I know it doesn't matter in a small demo, but in a bigger project every millisecond counts
