When executing my program "EIEv..." (.exe code) ,
gives error of type dbprocore.dll or error of tipe DBPro2DDebug.dll

To check the .dll that give error, it is required to have them,
where can you download dbpcore.dll and DBPro2DDebug.dll?

I understand that Windows 7 does not need these same .
Dlls to run programs based on Dark Basic Professional,
so the problem may be in those same .dll files that are installed on my PC.

If anyone knows how to avoid this error, I could continue programming in Dark Basic Professional,
with a combination of different versions of DBPro language files and that it more or less works me acceptably but with these errors,
it is not possible to make the corresponding checks of my program "EIE",
since it is when executing the .exe of the code of my program when the mentioned error emerge.

I have to add an important detail, when creating a new code and compiling it,
this will not give those errors and runs normally. !!!

Another detail that can facilitate the resolution of this problem is that my "EIE" program
does not use 3D commands at the moment, it only uses 2D and mathematical commands.
Many years ago I made a 3D editor,
I only used 2D commands and mathematical commands, 3D is achieved from 2D. !!
The problem of doing 3D from 2D, is that when using 2D commands and large amount
of mathematical calculation is slow rendering, to work faster is required to directly
create 3D commands with .dll libraries.

I'm trying to figure out why this happens,
I just think it might be due to a redundancy of combining .dll in different versions.

Can anyone help me solve this problem that prevents me from continuing to program with Dark Basic Professional?

Note:
The problem does not have to do with errors in my code,
since all the versions of this one, worked until the last version "EIEv14d",
from these errors in this last version of my program,
these same errors emerge for all the versions above.
Until the very moment of these errors in the last version of my program "EIEv14d",
all the previous versions and this last version were executed correctly without problem.

Hello everyone.

Since a week ago, I can not use the executables made in DBPro code,
since it gives me error in all the versions that I have of my EIE program,
when executing the .exe.

I do not understand what the problem is, nor how to solve it,
I need the help of someone who understands this type of mistakes.

Attached to the post several images showing the various errors.

All the versions tested now and that give error,
worked until this problem arose that gives some type of error and closes the executable.

Thanks

do not understand what happens to my DBPro,
just created a test code,
the Editor-Compiler does not create the executable if this same code installed in another address (folder),
have passed the .dba and .dbpro files to the desktop and there If you create the executable and it can be executed.
Have to do this same test with my previous codes and if there is luck
You might get them running normally.

I have to clarify that files that do not give error,
first of all Run and run normally,
now none of my previous codes are running,
nor does it allow me to compile them.

Before my DBPro codes worked perfectly,
Because now no ?

Where is the error problem generated?
In DB Pro Editor?
In DB Pro Compiler?
Or in Windows 7?

Maybe in some .dll?

The more I check this problem, the less I understand ...

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh ... Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ....

Much trouble installing DB Pro that works,
When I get DB Pro "run" ... then they come
The errors ..., so much so, that I can not continue programming
In DB Pro, please someone help me, I'm creating
A special textures program, is very important to me
Continue with my program until finished.

The first version of my EIEv Program ... comes from 2003 ...

Are you running as administrator? Is the editor pointing to the correct compiler? Where have you got Dbpro installed? Is there any more info u can give ? What editor are you using? Are you using Dbpro ex or just open source or the retail version .

The DB Pro that I use now is a montage between the Dark Basic Pro (2005 CD) and the new compilers to the previous one.
The folder in which you are installed is:

C: / Program Files / The Game Creators / Dark Basic Professional

Attached image with a view of the files and folders it contains.
Since I am not sure how to install Dark BASIC Pro,
this time I copied and pasted a previously working version made up of several compilers,
maybe made up of the 2005 version (CD) plus the current compiler plus the DBPro9Ex version .

The subsequent addition overlapping the DBPro9Ex version,
was because the combination of only Dark BASIC Professional 2005 (CD) plus Compiler (New),
asks for Key, but Key can not get to my PC because that option is expired.
So this fact does not allow me to use my purchased version of Dark BASIC Professional (2005-CD)

Dark BASIC Professional 2005 (CD) + Compiler (new) compiler does not work.
https://github.com/LeeBamberTGC/Dark-Basic-Pro/tree/Initial-Files/DBProCompiler -> (DBPro Compiler new)
DB Pro compiler (new) I can not instantiate nor it works overlapping its folders and files on Dark BASIC Professional 2005 (CD),
it gives me error that says it does not find the compiler.

It gives me the same errors as user as Administrator.

A month ago I installed the mfc100.dll library,
in the Windows / System 32 folder, with the program "DLL-Files"

Before that I say of Dll, I had installed Windows 10.
At the beginning of moving from Windows 7 to Windows 10 I worked fine
DB Pro, but in two months it stopped working and I did not find any
Fix it, so I had to remove windows 10 from my computer and go to install again my Windows 7.
But I see that the problems are the same ...

I have only programmed in BASIC languages, before DBPro in QBasic7, since Microsoft left QBASIC,
as it usually does with everything ...

I am not a professional programmer, I never did programming course, many years ago one of my brothers let me type his PC,
I saw that the screen showed the word "READER" and it was then that I started to program directly and saw that
I was getting enough Well, in 2001 I was able to buy a laptop and since then I have been programming and in various programming forums,
until I left the forum Dark BASIC-Es where I helped to create codes.
Subsequently, because of the relationship, I stopped programming from 2009 to 2016.

The first serious error, a starting from which the other mistakes were this -> "MouY variable does not exist in the program" ,
giving the reference of the Line where the error was figured, so that there was declared the variable without me
I leave Continue Programming my program for more than three months, change the name of the pen variable by other names
I kept pointing out as the error variable...

I have another data to contribute, when I compile, this warning appears ...
That says something like that would have duplicated several DLLs, I attached that message in this post.

NOTE:
I think it's good to update DBPro and take it to the max,
but apart from that, it would not be a bad idea to create something to be able to use the (CD) purchased from Dark BASIC Professional,
with that at least I could continue programming and improving my programs in this language wonderful.

The version I have bought on CD, I think it is the 1.9 of Dark BASIC Professional,
I bought two CDs, one gift to one of my brothers.
I also bought Dark BASIC 1.3 twice, but these without CD,
by downloading through the selling page of the product.
I also bought all the additions that had to implement the DB Pro,
but these were lost over time ...
The Dark BASIC Professional CD shown in the photo is the second copy I bought and is dated 2005.

I do not know if I am explaining myself well in English since I do not know English,
I only know Spanish, but I try to look good using Google Translator. SORRY...

Always I missed to read an explanatory post as his,
which opens the doors of the knowledge on the DB Pro and being firstly
I target the correct installation of the same one,
something that I did not find till now in Internet.

While this promised Video comes to us,
I will be looking for everything related to files of the DB Pro to eliminate them of PC me.

Thank you very much for his valuable help.

While I wait for the promised video, I have tried to install versions of DB Pro,
but all I get is that it does not find the address of the Compiler ...

I do not see it installed either, since it does not appear in "Programs and Features" of the Control Panel Of Windows.

I will do more tests of Installation of Dark BASIC Professional,
I will follow to the foot of the letter the instructions of Bored of the Rings ...,

to whom I give thanks again.

==============================================================

RESULTS:
I have not been able to install Dark Basic Professional

Obviously this means that I will not be able to continue programming in DB Pro
I will have to learn another language and try to create my "EIE" program again,
This may mean having to add 12 more years of extra work ...
And the real reason for the problem is that it has stopped supplying the key to those who bought Dark BASIC Professional CD, I do not see it fair ...
In the end what will happen is that I do not have enough life left to finish my work!

Thank you colleagues for your help.

To devote 12 more years to my "EIE" program is to waste the time invested so far,
for that reason I think I should try to continue with Dark Basic Professional.

I miss a package of Dark Basic Professional,
which includes the Paths in "Synergy Editor",
of the Installation and the Compiler,
plus an explanation in a file "Readme" with the steps to follow.
I have not found in the forum,
nor in the page of "Game Guru" something like that,
I do not understand that there is something like I say,
I do not think it is so complicated,
if Dark Basic Professional really works ...

I suspect that it will not work very well since,
following the steps taken from information obtained in this Forum
for installation of the current releases released Dark Basic Professional,
end in some type of error and therefore, the installation is unsuccessful.

I have been doing a lot of installation tests with different versions of Dark Basic Professional,
also mounting some versions over others,
after rectifying the Installation Paths and the Compiler to match the correct installation,
in which are the different folders and files Of the Dark Basic Professional,
the final result is a location error of the Compiler or some other type of error ...

If there is a colleague in this magnificent forum,
who understands what happens to this problem and if you know the solution of the problem,
I would be grateful not only for me,
but also for any other colleague who is in the same circumstances.

Therefore,
request again urgent help and three months without being able to program in DBPro ...
that is much more and more seeing that the mistakes are repeated.

Attached two examples of those used by me, for path corrections

Path-01 (Synergy Editor)

; Last Project opened/saved
LastProject=C:\Dark-Basic-Pro\Dark Basic Professional\Install\Projects\Hello World\Hello World.dbpro
; Flag to indicate whether the Editor will read the status of the compiler and provide visual updates
AllowReadCompilerStatus=TRUE
; If Editor cannot find your DBP installation, or you are using a precompiler enter the DarkBASIC Professional installation path here, otherwise leave blank
DBPLocation=C:\Dark-Basic-Pro\Dark Basic Professional\Compiler\DBPCompiler.exe
; The help file that is used if a command is not highlighted
MainHelpURL=main.htm

===========================================================================

Path-02 (Synergy Editor)

; Last Project opened/saved
LastProject=C:\The Game Creators\Dark Basic Professional\Install\Projects\Hello World\Hello World.dbpro
; Flag to indicate whether the Editor will read the status of the compiler and provide visual updates
AllowReadCompilerStatus=TRUE
; If Editor cannot find your DBP installation, or you are using a precompiler enter the DarkBASIC Professional installation path here, otherwise leave blank
DBPLocation=C:\The Game Creators\Dark Basic Professional\Compiler\DBPCompiler.exe
; The help file that is used if a command is not highlighted
MainHelpURL=main.htm

===========================================================================
===========================================================================

Note:
Attempting to install Professional Dark Basic happens to be another problem added more,
Since it is not enough to set the "Path" of the DBPCompiler.exe compiler in the "Synergy Editor" file ...
Is there anything else that requires a setting or a change to solve the Compiler localization problem?

That won't work. The newer compiler versions expect some data to be different in several of the "core" dll's (the ones under the Compiler\plugins folder) and as such trying to use them with older corelibs will likely cause crashes or other issues.
Make sure that you replace all such dll files with the ones corresponding to your compiler of choice and things should hopefully work.

This message would seem to indicate that you have the UAC enabled, which will disallow programs to write to most locations save for your temp and user folders. As others have suggested, if you want to keep the UAC enabled you could try to run the editor as an administrator - however, as the compiler is a separate program it will likely encounter similar issues and I don't think any editors will try to launch it with elevated privilieges. The easiest way to fix this would therefore be to go to your DBPro installation folder and locate the editor (this may differ depending on which editor you're using; the default one as of latter years is called EditorNew.exe and has a blue TGC icon, while the old one is probably just called "Editor.exe" with a brown pyramid for the icon) and the compiler (<DBPro Installation Folder>\Compiler\DBProCompiler.exe) executables. Right click on both of these programs in turn and select the "properties" menu item, then proceed to the "compatibility" tab. Here you'll find a checkbox to "run this program as an administrator". Tick that and click "apply" and "ok". With that done, these programs will always run with elevated access (with the caveat that you cannot run them at all unless your logged-in user account has administrative privilieges but I'll assume you have that).
Another option is to install everything to a "trusted" folder that normal programs have access to, such as "My Documents". If you opt for this approach, beware that you should properly uninstall and reinstall to this location rather than just move the files as there are registry fields that need to be updated, lest different parts of the DBPro package will look for eachothers in the old installation directory.

Finally, if you'd be interested in trying DBPro9Ex, you can simply uninstall your current installation as described above, then reinstall the ancient version from your disc and copy all the 9Ex files over that installation, and things should just work (I haven't tested it). You may still have to get license files for any third party plugins and such though.

I thank you for your invaluable help,
I'm not an expert,
I'm just skilful programming in BASIC, other than that there is very little computer science.

I've done testing by putting your DBPro9EX version on the 2005 version that I have on an original CD.

There is no New Editor,
I have to extract it from the Game Guru version that I get from the version
DBPro-12.02.16
Or version
DBP-Binary.120216

I will proceed to install again from scratch following the explanations provided by you.

By replacing .dll with different versions, I have to understand those with the same filename.
When the installation is finished, I will tell you what to do.
Thanks friend

I can not get it to work, I do not know what I'm wrong,
I insert a lot of images and videos of the installation made with
Dark Basic Professional (CD-)
And overlapping
DBProEx9.
I hope the information I attached helps to better understand one of the installation problems,
that of the location of DBPCompler.exe.

The only administrator of my team, it's me ...

In the "Install-01-CD (Install)" video, it displays the 2005 CD version as the
Dark Basic Professional 1.0
Most of the images show the components of version 1.0,
something that I think may be interesting not only to solve the problems that arise,
but also can be useful as true information of the mentioned version 1.0.

In the event that any colleague of the Forum needs to know the files that are not shown,
here and in the event of not violating any rule or legality,
I will be able to pass the images of the files of version 1.0 that are not included in this post.

I think all the .DLL interveners are exposed here.

Ah right, I don't have access to my DBPro installation at the moment (my computer is out of business for the time being, waiting for spare parts to come into stock), but maybe someone else could post their MD5.dll file for you to place in your Compiler folder.
You could try to upgrade to version 6.0+ prior to placing 9Ex on top of it; this should give you that file. Unfortunately it appears that the official upgrade links are no longer valid however.
I also see that your compiler folder is rather empty with the 2003 version there so there may be other external files required by the new compiler that aren't included either. If nobody else can post them up for you I will when I get my PC back online; this may be another 2+ weeks though unfortunately.

eamav,

Something that worked for me was to install the free version of DBPro (I found a still active link on tucows) and then apply the 7.7 RC7 update.

Something else that might help is this https://github.com/LeeBamberTGC/Dark-Basic-Pro/releases. It should allow you to activate your copy of DBPro.

All the best,

Thanks friend, I'll try your method

I do not get Dark Basic Professional working,
I've tried that combination of Free plus Upgrade 7.7,
but it does not work for me.
Thanks for trying to make it work for me.

I would not have problem with Dark Basic Professional if my copy CD could be activated,
the main problem is the activation that is canceled and the version 1.1 that is the one that I have in CD,
it is of no use to me, that is the reason by Which I have been unable to continue programming in DB Pro ..

that may be the problem? (or one of them)
i don't know this programm, but i do know that the mfc100.dll is part of the "Visual C++ redistributable package 2010". please do not use random programms to install single dll files from these packages.

I will try to remove the file mfc100.dll from System32,
maybe this file is the one that brings me problems with Dark Basic Professional ...
if I am lucky, I will come to confirm it and if I follow the same, too ...

I removed the mfc100.dll file from System 32 and DB Pro folders.
Restored Windows 7, installed Dark Basic Professional Free and Trial version 1.53,
but the problem still exists.

I have done various tests again, but I can not solve the problem.

Here I attached new images and videos of installing Dark Basic Professional v1.0
+ the released version of Dark Basic Professionall downloaded from Game Guru
+ a file for Free, it does not work ...

I also attached several tests for executing .EXE codes, everything ends up in some kind of error.
Some of that was opened, but shortly after another type of error arises,
of which I did not see an explanatory message.

in the video 'Install-DBPro 1.0-04' you copy some folders in your Dark Basic Professional folder. that's not right.
you need to copy the contents of the 'Install' folder to your 'Dark Basic Professional' folder.
i don't know the content of the other folders, so i can't tell if you even need them.

hope that helps.

EDIT:
it looks like the folders you copied are from some source code package. i don't know if this will work.

dark basic pro was made open source, but i cannot find a binary of it. i will try to compile it myself. if i have any luck i will just post the compiled tool and that should work.

Ok, I take note of that ...
It may be that the dark Basic Professional "Released" works by adding the missing binary,
hopefully you get it, that would avoid many problems for all those who program with Dark Basic Professional. !!!

Thanks zero32

Note:
I do not see the relationship that may exist between Dark Basic Professional
and the programming executables made previously to the problem and that worked correctly ...

More seems to be a matter of incompatibility with Windows 7 by the DirectX

At last.
The problem of executing exe files is resolved by instituting Windows 7 compatibility mode
and running in administrator mode.

Now it is necessary to resolve compilation files " .dba".

I have been playing the folders and files already installed Dark Basic Professional,
to my surprise I have managed to compile my latest version of
My "EIE" program, there was an error later when using my program,
An error that says to send to "Game Guru" (Attached image),
the icon of my file "EIEv14f-3.exe".
Is the red of "Game Guru" ... This error I think is of my code ... since it is an option that is to be fixed.
With all these arrangements I can continue advancing in my program or others that I have to do.

Thank you all for your help.

Well then, happy programming

While i tried to resolve your problem, i actually managed to repair my own copy of dark basic pro.
i didn't set the DBPLocation in the Synergy Editor.cfg file as i didn't know of this option.

In spite of the happy moment, the problem is still latent, but at least I got the executable of my program,
but now reappears the (strange) error of "Not load file.dba",
this error is related to a serious system failure, Image files with a ".png" extension
are included with the ".dba" extension and the Dark Editor Professional "Editor" icon.

If in Windows 7 change the program that has to open these files by means of any image editor,
it reverses this error and the ".dba" files change their icon to the image program ...

The current problem to compile ".dba" codes is related to this event, when the "Not load file.dba" error occurs,
it does not compile and deletes the corresponding executable if it was already present.

Attached image taken from the folder in which my program editor "EIE" saves the images created.,
There are shown ten images as ".dba" ... (???????????????????????????????...)

try this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mnCMTgEYz78 this is a video explaining how to show file extensions in the file names. (i tried to find one in spanish for you, i hope it's more clear that way.) follow the steps and post a screenshot of the image files.
if i guessed correctly, the files with the dbpro editor logo will have the .dba extension. if they do, try changing them to .png and see what happens.

Thanks for your help Zero32 !!!
The problem discussed was solved by itself.

Until yesterday I was able to continue programming "EIEv16" (my image editor program),
Since the error "variable MouX does not exist in the program" now reappears,
Error that I commented in my first post,
When this error occurs it is not possible to compile,
To this error other different errors will happen later,
Making it impossible to compile .dba code.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Dark Basis Professional several times,
Using files other than DBPro versions
(I always install version 1.0 that I have on the original CD first,
To which I superimpose the folder "Compiler", of released versions),

Creo que ese error se produce al cargar archivos con extensión .PNG, en el ejecutable creado en Compiler DBPro.
Previously it was so that this error was solved, but now the problem persists in spite of it ...

I do not know what else I can do to continue programming in Dark Basic Professional.

Cry cry cry ...

Hi eamav. I've started getting players of my game, Malevolence, have the original error you mentioned (error of type dbprocore.dll or error of tipe DBPro2DDebug.dll) after having been able to play the game just fine for years.

I'm still trying to figure out what is causing the problem, but I think it might have something to do with the latest round of Windows Updates.
I work full-time making games in AGK2 and DBpro. Living the dream!

Thanks, your information fits with what happens to my executables,
which worked well and now do not work or have problems, not only is this the problem,
it seems to be related to the compilation in the case of Power to compile ...
This problem arises after a time when it seems that everything works well,
that time comes to be one and two months running and suddenly the problem arises,
which can manifest itself in different ways,
but evidence that what causes it is something related to Dark Basic Professional,
but difficult to deduce where the failure or change occurs.

NOTE:
I've been trying to install a dark basic Professional installation for three days,
combining files from different versions of DB Pro

I have already managed to avoid the error Variable "MouX" does not exist in program
(Mounting above the installed files and folders of the DB pro, a repair from the CD-Dark Basic Professional, version 1.0 ...):

See picture 1.

Now I can compile, but the problem is still in force ...,
(It is now that when executing the obtained exe, the following error appears):

See Image 2.

NOTE:

In the second error message (Image 2.), it seems to refer to the ABS command ???

As I understand it, this happens, it may be, it may be an error in my code program
that did not detect the editor, or else the problem is in that .DLL
The other errors in DLLs that can arise when running, are similar ..

I am going to browse the contents of the code of my program,
to check that the ABS function

....The Abs () function is correct in my code...!!

Now I will remove the ABS () function from my code ..., I
will compile the code again and execute it
(this error is not supposed to occur ...)

. The mentioned error no longer appears, now a message appears
Of Windows that says Dark Basic Professional produced an error ..

Missed Windows to specify what the problem is

See Image 3.

Now I'm going to test the executable of another previous version of my program

...It worked...!!! ???? ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I now do one final test consisting of compiling the .dba from the executable that ran in the previous,
test and ejects the new or exe

...The new executable causes the error (3.)

================================================================================

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr... Hahaha

The question now is this:
Can we continue programming with Dark Basic Professional? ....
Can our dreams become reality someday, or not?

After carrying out these latest tests,
the problem becomes more complex and difficult to know what causes it and why.

Oh God... "kijbvefljhbsdiñsdbdcñkvcsdnvsdnjñikvmzdçODÑFl.."

For my part, I will continue to enter this forum,
waiting for someone to find a viable solution,
so that those who are creating games or programs in DB Pro,
we can continue our work, for many it is his dream and his life.

Combining files from different versions of DB Pro,
The final problem is the compilation of the code,
It is usually possible to create the executable, but it will not work later.
In some case it may be that if it runs normally, but I do not know how I got this.
The rest of the time, when executing the exe, it opens and shortly after, it closes.

I do not know how I got a recent exe of my program that does work well,
but I can not progress the development of my most recent program since the executables
They are not going to

There is a way to execute new code by selecting the 'Create exe / RUN' mode when compiling.

I'm coming to this late, but have you found the DBPcompiler.exe, right-click, properties and set it to run as Administrator?

Good idea, thank you CumQuat,
but that does not change what is already malfunctioning,
now I have removed the Dark Basic Professional and I reinstall it looking for a combination that works,
at the moment I can not, it will get worse ...

After performing a reset of the installation of DB Pro 1.0 - (CD),
in which I added the files Synergy Editor, EditorNew ..,
Path adjusted to the original installation of DB Pro 1.0 - (CD).
When you access LAUNCH or the Editor (original DB Pro 1.0 - (CD), it is locked.

View Picture 1ª and 2ª

When accessing EditorNew, a continuous replay error occurs in EditorNew itself.

See Picture 3ª

Note:
I removed the TGCOnline and TGCOnlineTrial files
and added the TGCOnline Free file

I can not find way to continue editing my own programs in DB Pro,
I ask again if it is not possible to find a solution.

Will I now have to learn C ++ and start creating the same programs I already have almost finished in DB Pro? ...
how long will it take for me to do that?

I realize that what I do, I will not be able to continue in my dream to finish my main program "EIE"

cry cry cry... ....

The only thing I can think to do is to offer you a dropbox download link for my entire DBpro folder, to see if that works... It's open source now, so I don't think there's anything illegal there... Do you think that will help you, eamav?

Thanks my friend CumQuat,
I already thought of something like this,
maybe it is the solution of and that of others

I want to solve my problem with Dark Basic Pro,
my "EIE" program is already going through more than 14,000 lines of written code,
it is already huge, it works very well and it is still halfway to do as I have in mind.
It is well organized and with all kinds of explanations of the code and it is easy to locate every part of it.

To give an idea of what constitutes my EIE image editing program,
I attach several images of the current Control Panel in process,
which I will modify according to the needs that arise when I expand it later.

This is the version EIE16b-4-a, the last version is the EIE17,
but of this, I could not compile an executable that works.

I calculated that without counting Draw, Cut, Fill and some other processed,
the number of possible combinations is to be
950.625.000.000.000.000 ...
starting from a single startup image,
which can be downloaded at the start of the program or create any one with the same processed ones.
But if I consider all that is possible with this Editor,
the total number of combinations or different images, it may be Infinite or almost Infinite

Basically the processed algorithms in EIE-x use Pixel to Pixel, Image and Sprites in loops type FOR NEXT,
REPEAT UNTIL, with that there is to do almost everything.
What you can imagine in Image treatment.
As I expanded my program I realized the enormous possibilities I had within my reach with a few commands.

I have a lot of practice creating code algorithms that comply with any idea and return the result to be sought.

Only 14,000 lines? Is that all? :-P

Malevolence has 1.97 million lines and I'm having similar problems hahaha

I'll put together an archive with a build of DBPro that I know works, and I'll put it on Dropbox and email you a link I hope it helps! I don't install DBPro on new computers anymore, I just copy this structure over and it always works for me.

Hi,eamav

Here is how I was able to get mine to work.

1. I logged into my account and went to the products list page and downloaded the version listed.
2. Install the downloaded version.
3. Download both binary versions listed at the following link. The 09092016 and the 12022016 binaries.
Don't download the source code for either one. You don't need it.

https://github.com/LeeBamberTGC/Dark-Basic-Pro/releases

4. Extract the files of 09022016 binary and copy and paste all files into the installation directory.
5 Extract the files of 12022016 binary and copy and paste all files into the installation directory.
6 download the dbpro_upgrade_7.7_RC.zip file at following link.
https://forum.thegamecreators.com/thread/180294

7. Extract the installer exe from dbpro_upgrade_7_7_RC.zip and run it.
8. Make sure you are connected to the internet for the first run of DarkBasic Pro.

Hope this helps. It worked for me.

[href=http://]Adjuntar archivos
[/href]Many thanks Unseen Ghost, I'll try loading the files in the way you indicate.

After more than a year with problems to create executable of my programs,
I see that there is a sequential process of errors that is repeated.

After two months of working fine, a first error arises
(Variable "MouX" does not exist in programan),
After this error will happen all kinds of errors and I do not see arrangement.
This has happened to me five times over a little over a year.

So I understand that the best I can get is that one of the assemblies will run for two months
in a row and after those two months it will fail, so after two months of working, I will be three or four months with mistakes.

Combining files from different versions of Dark Bas
i Professional I do not see it working and I did a lot of testing ...

I think the least complicated thing would be to supply Key for the Dark Basic Professional bought and contained in CD.
That should work because it always worked.

I see that we posted at the same time. I posted originally to extract the 7.7 upgrade and copy and past into installation directory. I realized that it was an installer exe in the zip file and edited my post with extracting exe and running it
