There are no black horizontal lines in the first screenshot, while they are supposed to be there. How to make them visible?

The last parameter in drawBox can be either 0 or 1. If it's 1 then it'll draw a filled in box, 0 means only an outline. Those black lines you see in his second pic aren't being draw, it's just the background. The white is what is drawn.
