AppGameKit Classic Chat / OGG Sound not Playing

Hey Folks
I got a problem, and i am not able to solve it on my own. I got some ogg sounds, and they play fine in windows (Win 10 Home, Win 7 Pro,), but not on my android device (Samsug s4). I know that there is or was a issue https://forum.thegamecreators.com/thread/217685. But i meet the length an size that seems needed.

coin1.ogg / plays on win / plays on android
door1.ogg / plays on win / does not play on android
woodhit1.ogg / plays on win / does not play on android

I wrote a small test code for you to test the issue. Sounds are attached.



Thanks in advance for testing and for suggestions.

Edit: Compiled on the latest AppGameKit 2017.8.16 and installed APK (not broadcasted) to Samsung Galaxy S4 (android 5.0.1)

Hi!

Compiled on the latest AppGameKit 2017.8.16 and broadcasted to Samsung Galaxy S3 (android 7.1.1)
Every sound seems to be working as it should.

Do you have the latest AppGameKit Player on Android? And try to remove bytecode.byc and recompile if that helps.

Hmm, i made a apk, copied it to my phone and installed it. i did not try it by broadcasting it. i will test. for the byteode i will test also. thx!

Edit: Tried broadcasting, did not work. Recompiling did not work.

Tested it as suggested.
Works on Windows, but does only play the first sound on Android, both by installing or broadcasting.

Is it maybe a problem of android 5.0.1?

They worked on a Nexus 5 but I got the same problem as you on a Nexus 7. It appears some old Android devices don't support high sampling rates, the door1.ogg and woodhit1.ogg files are sampled at 96KHz whereas coin1.ogg is sampled at 48KHz.
