There is a download link near the beginning of that page. I am not sure if it will have that project, but its worth a look. Also, be aware in your projects folder there are lots of helpful projects to learn from. I didn't see that shooter, but I saw another space shooter.

Have you read the AppGameKit tutorial? Very helpful for beginners.
