Hello

I've found this thread by here, with a good plugin for TTS under Windows.
https://forum.thegamecreators.com/thread/219752

But when i use it with a French voice, i've problems with accents. "é" "è", "à" ...
I suppose it's an encoding problem.

Any idea to make it works ?

I'd say it was an issue with the TTS engine, rather than AGK.

Sure, but is it possible to get around the problem ?
If nobody has an idea, i'll try to contact the programmer of this plugin in PM.

If it's a problem with the third party TTS software, then TGC won't be able to fix it. You should contact the developers of that plugin directly.

I think the problem is with string conversion, AppGameKit sends a string to my unicode dll and I convert the string to ascii to pass to the tts engine, I'll have a look and see if anything can be done to support accents over the weekend.

May be you'll have to convert to Extended ASCII ?

Look at the images i've joined.

EDIT:
I explain why i would like this TTS engine. I would like to program a GameBooks player for blinds peoples. The idea is to play with a joystick. Each choice, at the end of a paragraph, is linked to a joystick direction. And the first button will be used to validate, or also to fight ennemies. For this, i can use sounds.
