Very good. Really love it, so pulled a piece out of my program and posted here(as it's using your function).

+ Code Snippet

[EDIT: Still can't believe what variety of pretty textures your function can generate. Would be even more useful to display the parameters and if a nice texture comes up then, hold note down or save to a data file]
[EDIT2: OK. did just that. Now displays all parameters and can press 'H' to hold so can note them down.]

It's also pretty easy to get effects like grassy floor, wood or brushed steel or zink textures by googling there RGB values and entering them in the function, then fiddling a bit with the dimensions and density settings.

Funny, I've seen you did the same stairs thing as I did. I guess it's a universal thing when doing procedural gfx.

Wow - looks pretty cool - keep up the good work - that looks like going to be an awesome app.

Its all about learning, helping others, so im with you on that one.

I love your procedural gfx work - that lamp - from a few cylinders and a cone

Ah, sorry just changed the pic, for the zink metal detail wasn't very clearly visible.
It does light up at night too.
This is actually just a test bed for things to come, hehehe.

Just wondering what a metallic floor colouring would be like - would be fun to resurrect Speedball

Now there's a nice idea. But I wonder how to implement reflections on such a floor without using shaders. I'm missing an nice CreateMirror() or SetObjectReflection{} command in AGK.

cheers

i have done a magnifying glass without shaders (horrible coding) but there is a agk shaders in the showcase done by janbo

Doing things like this will take CPU power instead of GPU - shaders? best look at Janbo's post in showcase
