C'était en des temps lointains
Où il n'y avait rien ;
Ni sable ni vagues glacées ;
Point de terre,
Point de cieux élevés ;

Bravo.

The Googles Say Arbrakan wrote: "
It was in distant times
Where there was nothing;
No sand or icy waves;
No earth, no
heavens high;
Only the gap was empty,
And nothing was growing anywhere.

Originally, the universe consisted of an icy part (Niflheim or Land of Fog) and a burning and inflamed part (Muspell) between which extended a Great Void (Ginnungagap) where a river flowed; then this river which traversed this abyss was invaded by successive layers of frost which formed a base of more and more massive; and when heat and cold met, this pedestal melted and dripped, creating the primordial cosmic ocean from which emerged the goddess nammu who bore heaven (An) and earth (Ki).
Originally united and forming part of Ki, the Luminaries split with it, then separated between them. Creating respectively, the sun and the moon. The goddess Nammu in the evening, extending between the sun and the moon, gave birth 9 months later to three boys: Odin, Vili and Vé.

One day, Odin and his two brothers, Vili and Ve, were walking along the sea and noticed two stumps. They picked them up and made them human beings. Odin gave the two strains the sparkle of life, while Vili gave them the spirit and a little knowledge, and Vé gave them the five senses thus creating the first men and women populating the world. The three brothers built in the center of the Midgard Universe, a central enclosure reserved for humanity. But the humans, his capricious beings and greedy for power took up arms to challenge the Gods. The youngest of the gods died in this battle. nammu, the goddess mother, burst into tears upon seeing the remains of her younger sons. From his tears came the great ash Yggdrasil, the world tree, whose branches extended above all the territories. Under' one of its roots was the source of Mimir, who dispensed wisdom and good sense to those who drank from his waters. Under another of its roots was the source of Destiny, near which the demi-goddesses Urd, Verdandi and Skuld had their homes. These three creatures, called Norns, shaped the course of existence. And beneath its last root, in the depths of the earth, was Nibelheim, the kingdom of the dead, where the dead people reside who can not reach the kingdom of the gods, Asgard.

The gods climbed into Yggdrassil to build Asgard, the fortified city of the gods, and swore to leave only pure souls in this sanctuary.

From the remains of Ve the rest of the world was created.
From his bones were born the mountains,
From his hair, trees,
And with his brain were fashioned
All those cruel clouds that bring storms. "

I totally like the main character.
My French is a bit rusty, but that's just because I haven't used it in a couple of years...

Looks very interesting indeed! In terms of art style, this looks quite promising to me! Are you going for a Myst like game or is it more of a story focused adventure, maybe with point 'n click mechanics?

I love such atmospheric games, and your game seem to be one of them.

How did you create those clouds ?
Are they 3D particles ?
If yes, you still use some effects from the shaderpack(including selfillumination), right ?
So you excluded the clouds from the rendering scene for the selfillumination effect !?

I.e if you need help regarding shader please don't ask me (joking)
