This reflects the state of the Simple Mesh Format when the function was coded. By studying the code and examining the file output you'll be able to understand how objects are built.

Thanks I am working on a Dark Basic Professional tool that could make use of this helpful information.
Is there a DBO file format specification?

I would like to read it and make good use of it.

Nevermind. I remember someone told me it's in the help files.
Took a peek at it. Looks extremely convoluted. One step at a time.

Back to BASICS! I like it.. reminds me of this old tutorial on how to create mesh objects using memblocks
