I'm thinking .fbx or .dae. What do you think is the format that AppGameKit supports the best?

I believe that blendman comeout with a tutorial about this.

For me its .x for agk2 and exported via Ultimate Unwrap. I also use UU to export to Collada( im also slowly learn godot)

PS: Dear AppGameKit, I really want the paramater to be able to load model together with texture.

Hi

What is the modeler you use to export you animated model ?
If you use blender, the dae works fine, but not the .x in my test (blender 2.76).
With .x, from blender, the exported object is rotated in x axis by 90ยบ.

I havent tested other exporter, but i think from 3dsmax, the .x should work.
Dae seems to be a good solution.

In addition to 3dsmax, panda x exporter and kwx exporter work. I tested on my old version of max, but easily crash in win 10 so i abandon max. I dont want to go for subsctiption.

Just had a thought. Couldn't you fix that .x issue either by rotating the model in blender or using FixObjectPivot() in AGK

I got *.dae, *.fbx, and *.x working, but i prefere *.dae.
I use 3ds max 2012 from my office.

I think dae is good if you use multi texture on your model or multimodel in your exported file (with or without parenting).
I prefer dae too, it works in almost all situation.

@blendman
When i load dae it will play all animation all of a sudden...what could be wrong

How to get child from a model, e.g sword because .x and .dae always return no child.

Thanks
