I just downloaded the visual editor for AGK2. Is it possible to use sprite atlases (spritesheets) with this software?

What I should really be asking is if the atlas can be cut up inside of the editor, instead of having to tediously cut bits out manually and saving them out as indiviual images.

For those of us playing along at home, would you care to share what you discovered?

The atlas image and its txt recurse have to be in a folder. And then in visual editor select that folder.

-Visualeditor_playanimation function dont works.

You can also right click on an image in the media tab and select Create Sprite Sheet to build an atlas.

You may want to check the parameters to VisualEditor_PlayAnimation. It could be the speed, loop mode, start and end frames need to be altered.

When you say about working with pixels what exactly do you mean by this?

In a future version I can adjust it so you can easily switch between percentage and virtual resolutions. Will be better if you can control that based on your own preferences.

Can you add a message box or print statement showing the parameters that get passed into PlaySprite within VisualEditor_PlayAnimation? May help to realise why things aren't working.

in visual editor..
1-i create a spritesheet
2-create two anims called "walking" and "running". leave "defaul" to stop sprite and initial frame.
in agk..
3-then before loop add visualeditor_playanimation("sprite1","running")

but dont works. althougth the original command playsprite() works perfectly.
