AppGameKit Classic Chat / Video background covers entire screen

Since a few versions back, when I PlayVideo, no matter what size, the video plays that the size I request, however there is a grey background that covers everything else on the screen.
This also happens with the Video example. Is there something wrong?

Running on MacOS High Seirra.
