when i paste an image at say 2014,324, and the screen resolution is 640 by 480, does this have any affect no anything or does nothing change? would it reduce speed if i pasted a hundred images outside of screen, or would it only matter if i pasted all these images inside the screen?

Pasting the images takes time, but once they are pasted I don't think they slow the computer down hardly at all even if they are on the visable screen.

there are two areas you can print 2d material to the front and back buffers. IF you print to a bitmap area which is a back buffer then you can compose a series of images lines and boxes etc.. to a back buffer.
