There are a lot of reasons and one of them is that I can't run darkbasic classic on it(gives error 0x80070422 followed by error 0xc0000022). I have tried a lot of things, enabled directplay, tried different dll files, tried to make it work on virtual machine but it did not work (even if it would it probably be too slow), tried to install windows 7 on same pc as windows 10 but I couldn't because damn windows then wouldn't load my c backup image on c drive(even if I was successfull it would be pain to switch between 10 and 7). Stupid windows 10 took my dbc from me and a lot of other things...

I am very sure about one thing: Neither intel CPUs nor windows operating systems are fully or mostly backward compatible, only maybe about 50%. Backward compability is bullshit.

And don't tell me that I need to "update" my drivers or something, my drivers are fully operational. Games like gta5 and bf4 work super.

I have classic and it does run on Windows 10. Have you installed directx?

* Install OpenGL 9.C (as newer versions may loose dx6 support needed for DBC)
* Run as admin
* Set the executable system mode to XP
* Try to compile without the fullscreen gui

Somewhere on this way, you will have success.
