Thedoctor989 Exactly which simulated 3D view did FredP make? Is there a video to watch?
I did do something along a 3rd pov, it's all in the scripting & animations available for that character.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PmEkPMZ7ekE
I had a lot of "glitching" with the animations at the time. Not sure if it will work better now ?
Is this something what your looking for ?

Thedoctor989 I see now what you mean. He made a weapon hud also a character. Unfortunately there are not
enough commands when using a weapon hud to give the character realistic movement/actions. But this would be doable
I just dont think it would look really good

thedoctor989 I would use a "stock" character, since all the animations & rigging is there.
Do you have something to use ? ( character mesh )

NO.... you or I should ask permission first. Secondly, you only have a .obj file. That would be just a static entity.
Nothing is rigged or able to play animations. That's why I suggested using a "stock" character

@ thedoctor989 Not to be rude, but it just doesn't work that way. It's not rigged properly.
It wont work ! You will just have a static character in front of the player, blocking your view.
And you can't crouch or this character sinks into the floor. Its too many problems

Can you show me what you have right now? i think if you reposition the entity over the shoulder and leave a bit of room to see the back of his head you might be able to get away with the inconsistencies of it!

or could you try to find a mod for Black ice that does it?
