since the Steam Link is very cheap, the question is, would it be possible, to flash / root something the firmware / rom and install "real" linux on it or ...
Using the SDK and somehow export AGK-Games to the Steam Link. No Streaming. Nativly on the device. From the specs it could be as powerful as a Raspberry Pi. It has also OpenGL ES 2.0 support.

I don't know, if there is an Android version for Steam Link out there as nativ OS. I think the performance would not as good as on an OUYA. But for some little games it could be fun.
I saw that, so maybe we also could install AGK-Games like RetroArch on the Steam Link itself.
