has anyone managed to get a reasonable smooth result with ambient occlusion shader in AppGameKit?
For fair comparison, this is what the community ambient occlusion shader looks like in Game Maker:

The occlusion is smooth all accross, while the AppGameKit occlusion shader is blocky and times even disappears from the screen altogether.

I tried to play around with the options but failed to locate the values you need to edit get the desired effect.

Cant watch your video.
Did you try ramping the render targets size, and blur amount up a bit ?
SP_SSAO_SetRenderImageSize()
SP_SSAO_SetBlurRenderImageSize()

SP_SSAO_SetRenderImageSize()
SP_SSAO_SetBlurRenderImageSize()"

I'll give it a test run again, look for those parameters.
