Hi there!

Why do .obj scale differently than the cube primitives?
A 5 by 5 by 5 cube scaled way less than a .obj does using the same size, despite scale 1,1,1 being the same size.

Any ideas?

Hey! Sorry, but I found the mistake. For some reason I had a 5 by 5 by 5 cube in mind, but my primitive cubes were actually 5,1,5 , not 5, 5, 5. The cube model .obj I tried to use to replace the tiles with (for texture reasons) was 5 by 5 by 5, instead of 5 by 1 by 5. So yep, that caused the wrong scaling.
