Hello all,

Brigand: Oaxaca is doing pretty well on Steam, mostly thanks to a youtuber called Tehsnakerer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RjMQ2q_nsh8

Here's a link to the Steam page: https://steamcommunity.com/app/652410

Anyway, people are asking for Steam Achievements, and I saw a plugin that was released about 4 years ago called DarkSteamworks. It was going to be commercial, but it got discontinued and posted for free. Unfortunately, all the links are broken. Does anybody still have a copy of this plugin? I would be willing to pay for it.

Thanks.
Kuper

This is only thing that I could find.It is not plugin itself - it is C++ project of it, I guess
PS. Also how much copies did you sell?

920 copies and it's been about a year and a half. I would love to get Steam achievements working, but I have no idea how to compile that code. If someone could make a DLL for Steam similar to Sparky's Collision (which I'm using), I would gladly pay. My email is blancaster45@gmail.com.

Pretty sure I have a copy of it I'll check when I get to my pc...

... yep, here is the compiled version originally linked from The Zombie Killer's post on 27th Jul 2015 02:30 when he released it free / open source

BTW, congrats on finishing this and getting it published. It has a strong early 2000s feel which reminds me in a good way of the original half life, counterstrike, deus ex, and the like

So the example program works, but I can't get it to work on my game. There is a file in the example code folder called steam_appid.txt, and when I open it, it just says 480. I'm guessing I need a similar file for my own game, but I'm not sure what.

Alright, finally got it implemented. Achievements are a good way to get free advertising, so thanks for the help Ortu, and Kuper.
