Hi Adam,

as your topic is locked.. I have to ask you separately here.

Which version of AppGameKit is AGK for Python supporting?
Can it be used inside a PyQT5 powered environment?

Cheers
Michael

Hi, I re-opened the thread.

To answer your questions:
1) AppGameKit for Python is set at 2017.12.12. Since the year is close to being up, I'll ask TheGameCreators their verdict for the project. If it continues, I'll update it to the latest.
2) I don't have any experience with PyQT5. It's a GUI library, right? Probably not if you're thinking to place an AppGameKit rendering on a window/form.

Thanks for the answer. Yes it is imho the best cross platform toolkit today. And yes, that was my thinking. Placing a agk render in a Qt powered app.

No worries, I decided not to use AppGameKit for any future developments.

@MikeHart: Sorry to hear that. It is something I still plan to look into. I think I saw that the AppGameKit for C# was able to do something similar.

I was thinking about utilizing AppGameKit in the new editor of Cerberus X which I am working on since January but I decided I will drop that thought as I can use other graphic apis.
AGK for Python was a natural thought as I am developing this editor with PyQT5. Our current editor is coded in C++ and QT but I love to develop in Python much more.
The productivity is much much better there. I am not buying in this AGKs as I think a new editor doesn't justify buying the same engine again!
Anyway, good luck with your projects, you are doing a great job there.
