It looks like Studio will be more like Game Maker, which offers more visual editor options as well as the ability to code. For tile based games, this will be nice to have. What other advantages does studio have over classic?

I wasn't aware the studio had a "visual editor", only an object viewer.

Links to any previews?

Haven't played around yet, just starting. But:
- New Vulkan rendering engine
- Deeper Shader integration
- More powerful debugging

just to name some features that come to mind now

@Galelorn - I think just about everything that I have seen coming from TGC about Studio mentions that it will have a visual editor. It is just not in the alpha yet because it is not ready.

Last item under "Features". It is called a Scene Editor

I think......and don't quote me......we can use the visual editor to get placement for sprite etc, and test textures on models and shaders......I wouldn't expect an elaborate 2d world builder, but for menus and stuff it could be great.

We can also - I believe - see variables and change values in real-time as we debug, which is worth the money alone really. Plus it's a really nice editor to use.

For people who've already tried AGKS :
Does it propose autocompletion for arrays (length, insert, insertsorted, sort, find, toJSON ...) and types (save, load) ?
It somthing that AppGameKit Classic doesn't propose...

Thank you for satisfying my curiosity

Another questions for people who've already tried AGKS :
In the demo video of the debugging, we can see that it works fine for arrays with integer. How doeas the debugger work with arrays of type ?
In the debugger can we add a Watch on array.length (in AppGameKit Classic it returns >invalid expression> ?

Thank you,

@Riusz: No, it doesn't propose autocompletion for array functions like .find .sort etc. yet it seems, nor for .save .load . It probably could though seeing what it now does with 'find' etc, it seems more flexible ;
