I think it's nice to have a feature like autocomplete for reserved keywords. For example like if i type function FunctionName and press enter, the ide will automatically produce endfunction and the current cursor is at the middle of the function.
The current ide seems like support autocomplete for code but not for reserved keywords.
And also, autocomplete for brackets and parentheses will be nice.

But make it optional, as I dislike that kind of thing in my IDE

I can see why some users would want that feature, however, my own personal experiences with autocomplete is it's annoying, but hey that's just me

I agree it should be an optional feature. What I find the most annoying is when parentheses or double quotes are autocompleted. It completely breaks the flow of typing.

yes exactly, I like a nice typing flow without interruptions. it's great if you forget certain syntax for a command but other than that, I turn these things off in most programming apps.

Lol, it seems like everyone is hating this feature. But anyway, making this feature to be optional is always good.
