Having been using GameGuru for a while I'm thinking about getting this. Are there any coding tutorials around. It looks like a very, very powerful editor for 2D. But what is the 3D side of this like?

Also if I buy is the steam key usable right now, or is it best to buy the TGC version, and which one has the quickest updates?

Many Thanks

I got AppGameKit classic from steam and will probably do the same with AppGameKit studio although I don't think it makes any difference . If you want to start programming you came to the right place . AppGameKit Is easier to learn than some other languages and gets the job done . Plenty of support here and they do sell a tutorial volume 1 and 2 . and also a beginners guide . There's quite a few videos on you tube as well which will help you code your first game.
I've recently started using the 3D stuff and it's pretty straight forward I haven't done any high detail stuff yet though but that's coming .

@zlad there is heaps of examples across the forums particularly in the agk classic forum which work fine
there is also full version games complete with source code available with the games packs. I also have full version
games I have made and any of the competitions that have been run people usually share their entries as code
ready to run

I would recommend reading any one of the manuals or perhaps purchasing games pack 1
but in the meantime if your looking for code to run that works you could visit

for a number of complete working snippets etc
https://forum.thegamecreators.com/thread/222027

or for a list of classic games some which I have included my own way of achieving this in AGK
