- A softer collision detection (the arcade used pixel perfect collision, which is really obnoxious in some situations)
- graphics compatible with this century in full HD
- Sound with less "beeping", but still transporting us to the golden age of arcade games.

Have fun!

Looks like your well on your way, but I feel the styles are a bit off: Perhaps the cars could be a little bit more cartoony, similar to the frog, turtle and croc. Or.. the other way round: increase the realism of the frog, turtle and croc.

Looks great and I love the comical art I agree the cars should match better tho and no idea how you would achieve this

I did a frogger version to for mobile and its one of my popular downloads but sadly it has poor ratings due to people
not knowing anything about frogger sadly https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SWfW177RQwg. Im not sure
what sort of controls you plan on using but I went for a swipe of the finger style.

EDIT Just noticed itch link congrats and following now

Looks....interesting. Can I ask, are they you're own assets? If so, as Rik mentioned ethere's no consistent style at all - the cara are top down, the animals are side on, some are real, others cartoon style, sizes are hugely out of sync and some of the graphics are blurry while some are sharp.

Please take this as constructive...deciding on an art style is something I am also struggling with!
