@loktofeit you win by default but I think it would've been hard to beat due to being exactly
what the theme asked for and going by the judging requirements

1>How close it fits the theme -----------------fitted better than I could imagine
2>How well it plays ………………………………..plays well I would've deducted points here because I think it lost fun factor
3>Originality ………………………………………….Definitely original not seen anything like it before, closest thing I can think of is the old lemonade stand
4>Coding difficulty 0-10...……………………...lost points here and this was only added later so as the others weren't scared off by your entry matching requirements so well
5>Bonus points awarded to anyone who creates all media from code …….points here too and created very quick

Above all a very good game I personally would've liked to have seen a conveyor belt moving the food along and having to respond quicker
you've got the framework for something here and an idea which some direction could kick off

Wednesday midnight Aussie time was the deadline which allowed Thursday and Friday if needed for judging
but I just noticed I put the 7th and should've put the 6th should've said 1230 would've stopped all the confusion
ide still like to see others creations but thought from your last post you weren't submitting one.

I had a day off on the 7th and was planning on putting my game together then on the understanding that the 8th was the deadline. But when fubarpk said on the 5th that he was judging tomorrow I didn't bother. I think a bit more clarity on the deadline would have got more entries. Certainly one more at least (mine).

This only has one level and win or lose you have to restart it. It is designed for mobile so try it out on your phones

There is a font here (free for commercial use). If you drop it in the media folder then the game will use it (which looks best)

Attached is a level editor if you want to make levels. When you save a level it will copy the RLE string and meta data to the clipboard (And write it to the file you choose as well)
You need to paste that information into the LoadLevel() funcion like so;


I might go ahead and make some more levels and tidy it up a bit but this is where it's at right now. Not much fun now but it does have potential i think

that's great and totally different than I expected I like the concept of rooms kinda nethack-ish yes has potential

Heres where im at with my 2.5d version the image on the left if I make it all one object and load the frames
the second image is what it looks like in the scene splitter im thinking the models aren't right or I exported
wrong not sure

It looks like half of your triangles are either missing or have an incorrect winding order on your full model on the right.

Try using setobjectcullmode(ob,0) and if they turn up then every second tringle is wound wrong.

Strange cos I can load the models directly and get no problem without even using cull mode
but ive fixed the issue now the problem was when using the scene splitter which from my
understanding only rewrites what blender wrote. But by replacing the objects created from
the scene splitter with the originals I get this which im happy with

They look great.

MagicaVoxel can import a PNG and do the job of making 3d sprites too and allow you to edit and set depths of any pixel (and its free too!)

Worth considering for little projects.

I thought you guys did an image extrude function ages ago that worked really well. I know I did one too using memblocks.

EDIT... This is what I meant by extruding the image

thanks theres this one https://forum.thegamecreators.com/thread/223545 which I think you may have
helped with the saving of the object but it still needs work. It works by creating one block object for every pixel
which is fine but effectively it has twice the verts needed and I was then importing into blender and using the join
verts within a range. made the object like quarter the size that way. and the smoothing algorithm needs work and
you have to create a texture map yourself might go back to it one day
