ESET Anti virus (Windows 10) reports a false positive for studio generated .exe (Dos not happen for classic generated .exe)

I have the same problem in both classic and studio versions in AVG I have to add it to the antivirus exceptions

Yeah. I don't think there is much TGC can do. I've lodged an incident with the ESET people.
Problem is i have to add an exception for the entire agk projects folder (I tend to throw any old project in there) and the Program files (x86)/TheGameCreators folder

I think allot of the time the antivirus notices the exe making changes and creating other exe's etc (typical virus behaviour)
They tend to monitor the activity more nowadays then actual virus's by definition with viruses such as polymorphic for example
that can change there signature on every reproduction. So this is the only way

But I only had to add the agk file itself hope that helps.
