Hey all,

Could someone please tell me how to access and use the compiler? Is it even allowed to?

Paul has given permission before, but that was a while back for AppGameKit Classic ([href]Link[/href]).

I do not wish to exploit it commercially or anything. I'm working on a simple WIMP GUI system and would like to create my own personal development tools.

Any help is much appreciated!

It appears that the compiler is now embedded in the IDE.
Prior to Studio it was a separate program so as far as i can see you cannot run the compiler stand alone.
It may be that you can use the ide to compile but i haven't seen anything that would suggest it was possible

blink0k is correct that the compiler is now built into the IDE which makes it faster, but unfortunately this does mean it is now inaccessible to external apps. It's possible we could add a command line option to the IDE to make it use its compiler to compile a project and then quit. Create a feature request here and see if Preben wants to modify the IDE to do this.

Ah thanks for the reply, Paul!

I am afraid I do not have a github account. Could someone be so kind with an account to request this for me?

Thanks in advance!
