I'm using tier 2 on Windows (VS2017) running in Debug mode and created a simple app for some testing. All I am doing is loading images, displaying sprites and text.

While running the app memory usage (returned by agk::GetImageMemoryUsage() ) is flat and stable as is the Process Memory in VS Diagnostic tools however when I minimize the window the Process Memory climbs until I get a crash in Core.cpp _tWinMain at the line if ( App.Loop() == 1 ) bExitLoop = true;

If I do this again but resore the window (by clicking on the app in the taskbar) the screen is displayed ok and memory stops climbing. It only climbs when minimized.

Note that the memory usage returned by agk::GetImageMemoryUsage() does not climb even when minimized.

Is there something I need to be doing when losing focus or is this a bug? Thanks.

Wow, that looks like a pretty significant bug. Confirmed with Tier1 projects also. I'd recommend reporting it on GitHub for a fix: https://github.com/TheGameCreators/AGK-Studio/issues

I went ahead and added it to the GitHub list: https://github.com/TheGameCreators/AGK-Studio/issues/632
