The not so invisible ball... Could be handy to add ghost shadows if you are making something spooky.

I think if you include 'SetObjectCastShadow(obj,1)', the depth render will still include the object, regardless of visibility state (which effects screen render). So to hide it fully, you'll either need to disable or toggle the cast shadow value for the object (or move/scale it out of view) when you don't need it.
