Hi guys, I have some question about AGKS. I am currently having a portfolio that I want to show to the game company and want to decide which library/framework to use. Most of the game company do not recommend project being created in game engines (Unity/Unreal engine etc), therefore it leads me to either use some libraries or frameworks to complete my project. So my questions about AGKS are:
1. Is App game kit studio considered as a game engine, or just a game framework, or even more like a library? I am not entirely sure about the full concept about game engine, but I think AGKS is a framework more..
2.In case I choose AGKS for my project, I will be using Tier2 C++ and the company might want me to show them my source code. Is it okay to do so since the game company might not have AGKS license.

Hope to get some answers.. Thank you.

1. I would consider it a framework

2. If you provide the (future) employer with your C++ source code and a working copy of the game I would expect that to be more than enough. No need to show TGC side of things.
Even when a framework or 3rd party library is used, you can tell quality of someone's code rather quickly.

Good luck

Hi tiresius, thank you for your reply.

Well, some of the company wants to see how good is the applicant's programming skills and also mathematics since game used it a lot. I am assuming app game kit already did some math behind the command like rotate model etc without users do the Matrix transformation etc.
