I thought it would be handy if we could see a number of downloads counter next to our uploaded zips etc, so we could see the amount of interest in what we do.
Since some people like to leave comments and some not so much, I think the counter would be more accurate.

Anyone agree ?
I'm a time traveller from 40 years ago. You'll never guess how long it took to get here.

i tried implementing www.cutercounter.com with the basic bbcode we have here. it works fine for a page view counter but not for a d/l counter.

that's hooked to test page i used elsewhere on the forum. but, have a play?

otherwise, providing full attachment url in set-up still counts page views, for me.

and, then there's the part where, if we deviate from the generated code (too much?), their bots will disable the counter.

hmm... seems my example above followed to count views for THIS page...
